About me

I'm Ian, I live on the South Coast of the UK. I have a higher national diploma in graphic design and illustration, which is handy as I’ve been working in graphic design and illustration for some time now.

I began my career at a reprographics house, and working in large format print and design where I gained experience, witnessed the transition to digital print, and learned to love using a mouse as well as a pen. I became a full-time freelancer from 2000 onwards and have not looked back.

I’m keen on all aspects of art and graphics, maintain productive relationships with clients both old and new, and I seem to get through a lot of tea.

What I do

A wide range of work, creating layouts and designs from the largest exhibition panel to the smallest animated gif*, retouching images to redrawing logos and colouring up artwork. I have also started to dabble in web design, focusing on simple, clean layouts which will display well on different devices.

I use the typical tools; Adobe’s applications primarily! I’m a big fan of Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.
