In a vague attempt to update the website, from time to time I'll add images and a description of recent work. Most accompanying images can be clicked on to show a bit more detail.
Jurassic Park Happy Meal Dinosaurs for McDonalds!
The brief was to create the artwork for 12 slot-together dinosaurs, using reference images and assets supplied by the licensor. The style requested was a combination of linework and photographic textures. The turnaround was tight, and the artwork was made to fit existing dinosaur shapes that had been engineered to slot together, taking into consideration the stability of each dinosaur and to fit within the specified card area.
After the first version was created, the cutters were adjusted further, and consequently the artwork altered to fit. There was a fair amount of back and forth between the artwork and cutter effecting each other!

Illustrated maps
Sometimes clients want a more illustrative style of image to show an area rather than your standard map. Using reference supplied, I have put together several of these. Especially useful for nature walks, historical sites or promotional material. They are also very satisfying to produce for some reason.
